HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I am thankful for:

my dear hubby; my sweet girls; my extended family; so many good friends; food; clothes; our van; the Audi we've been blessed to be able to use; the massive house we are blessed to live in; an awesome job; a 2nd job that, although is not that awesome, has helped us out financially quite a bit the last 6 months; my digital camera; so many vibrant colors all around me - especially in the fall; my kitty who's sleeping all curled up beside me right now; our church; coffee; our computer that has recently gotten new software that I am really going to enjoy using; my office - also known as "Helen's Haven" and all the things I could buy lately to get it all organized; my watercolor paints; good paper to do my paintings on; some really good brushes; a nice big table to work on; a body that, even though it may not look like I want it to, is mostly healthy and working pretty well; safety; my gorgeous dishes that we could enjoy a wonderful turkey dinner on yesterday; our friends who came to enjoy Thanksgiving with us this weekend; a nice piano; xanga; my new sheets - 350 thread count ; my new denim shower curtain; chocolate chip cookies; chocolate cake; chocolate in any form; laughter; books; hugs; a nice, warm blanket; good, healthy teeth; a little six-year-old who can read like a pro! (she's sitting beside me right now, reading me a book about kittens) ; clean water; being able to sleep til 11 am today; my mentor; music - especially jazz; a fantastic radio station that plays mostly jazz; potatoes and gravy (mmmm...); my cozy bed; happy memories.

Last but certainly not least: Jesus - Lord of all creation and yet, my Friend. Thank You for loving me no matter how how ridiculously unfaithful and disobedient i have been. Thank you for giving Your life for me so that i can have hope, life, joy, and a new start every time i ask for it. Thank you for giving me all that i have ever asked for and so much more. Thank you that i have more to look forward to long after my time here on earth is done. And thank you for being my "bridge" to God the Father so that i can truly know HIM. You ROCK!

Every good and perfect gift is from above,
