Family Day

Ok, everybody, I'm OK now and, yes, I did forgive Josh and did not strangle the man. Even though he did NOT get me flowers like some other lucky girls . It's so hard to stay mad at someone you love!

So family day was really nice today. We took the kids to Rundle Park. Although the playground has been completely demolished (they're building a new one that looks like it will be amazing), we still had a wonderful time. We found an open area in the park and threw a football around. We played the game "jackpot" (with the football) and had a really great time just running around and being silly and just playing together. The weather was amazing and it was a really great time for a family that doesn't spend much time outside. When we were all played out and tired, we lay on the grass and looked up at the clouds going by (I got stuck there - that was so wonderful - while the rest of them played some more.) Afterward we went to East Side Marios for supper. A very nice family day with just the tiniest bit of drama but, hey, we're not in heaven yet, so it can't be too perfect!

Well, I better go spend some time with that man o' mine!
