No luck yet, bloggers.
Well, I still haven't found a name that I like so I guess I'll stay cranky for a while. I'm thinking about using something that includes the nickname I had as a child (Leni) and something with art since that's my latest hobby but I just haven't quite got it yet. Whatever.
So it's been a crazy week so far. Had an incident on the Whitemud the other day with an older lady doing something really stupid - almost had an accident. And she had the nerve to be shaking her head at me like it was my fault! That got me soooo steamed - I arrived at the office all worked up. Luckily I have a boss who I can be myself with. He let me rant a bit and depressurize. I found it was a week where my anger was always just under the surface. There is just so much stupidity going on all around us, isn't there? I'm especially appalled at the crazy behavior on the roads. What is up with everybody?
Well, now that I got that expressed, I feel better. This blog thing is really helpful.
So tonight I was just going from blog to blog trying to see if anybody wrote something new and I decided to click the "next blog" button at the upper right corner of the screen. I found that quite addictive. You sure do see some weird and interesting stuff. It was kind of cool.
Well, this was quite the rambling, wasn't it? I guess I better quit and get some sleep. A friend told me today that maybe the reason I feel so angry a lot of the time is that I'm not getting enough rest. She might have something there. So off I go. G'night all.

what about part of a favorite song?
I just changed the name of my blog.
I thought that EEyore was too depressed, and they never fixed me, so I don't sleep yet.
So , i love the song count your blessings, and my blog is supposed to be about stuff that I am thankful for, or stuff that makes me happy & positive, so I changed it to " countung my blessings."
Hope that helps
well, it could be that you're not getting enough sleep. but always remember that anger, like all other emotions, is a natural part of us. unless you don't believe our emotions were created...or perhaps some emotions were created and others weren't?
you have to love how christians aren't comfortable with anger like it wasn't given to us along with the rest of emotion.
maybe your anger is closer than you would like it to be because you haven't been expressing it constructively enought, so it just keeps building. anger stew just
isn't very tasty.
(sorry bout the rant, i guess that belongs on someone else's blog)
My thoughts:
1) Even if your anger isn't related to lack of sleep, sleep more! A busy mom like you can always benefit from more sleep.
2) Looking at random blogs can lead to very interesting (aka "adult") blogs. I've made sure never to click on the next button if Nicholas is in the room.
3) Drivers on the Whitemud suck. Except for me, of course. I rock.
to tan:
assuming you mean "counting my blessings", good choice.
to j:
although I agree that anger is a normal emotion, I just don't want to be ruled by it - or any other emotion for that matter. I would like to be a lot more balanced and able to stay in control.
to kim:
1) I think I'm going to make this a goal for the coming week. To get to sleep earlier.
2) thanks for the tip - good point
3) I too ROCK - and yes, everyone else sucks! Just ask vixen about her drive on the whitemud today. And remind her that it's NOT MY FAULT that EVERYONE is driving like morons!!!
You rally drive... how can that possibly rock?
At least you don't drive like that man you live with
[shudder]
Yah, me speling sux,
i did mean counting my blessings :)
it's not weird at all. It's probably much weirder to try to find out things about people I don't know!
To Tash: I did hit the next blog button, and got a portuguese site that had a giant tree frog on it.
